What they’re talking about BTC

I am Aden Shakout, a second-year student at BITE pursuing a Bachelor of Theology. I deeply desired to learn the Word of God, which led me to join BITE. Before enrolling, I had high expectations for the institute, and I praise God that those expectations have been fulfilled. I am truly on the path I had hoped for. The faculty and management have demonstrated the love of Christ in everything they do and are always ready to help. At times, we may feel underprepared or ask what might seem like simple or even silly questions, but they never show frustration. Instead, they meet us where we are and guide us with patience and understanding. I am grateful for how much I’ve grown both academically and spiritually during my time here. I trust that, by God’s grace, after completing this course, I will be equipped to serve more effectively in the Lord’s field.

My name is Nirmal Sarfraz, I’m joyful to share my experience of completing two months of fieldwork at Bach Christian Hospital, Qalanderabad. It was a truly wonderful and transformative experience, offering invaluable lessons for practical ministry. During this time, I honed my ability to communicate effectively with others and share the Good News, witnessing the profound impact of the Gospel on human lives. This journey was marked by deep connections, compassion, and the joy of evolving God’s Kingdom. I feel humbled to have played a part in this ministry and am excited to continue sharing His love with others. This was my third fieldwork experience, following my previous work with OMF Pakistan and Women Christian Hospital, Multan. I am incredibly thankful to BITE for their strong fieldwork program, which provides students with opportunities to apply their knowledge in real-life settings while identifying and overcoming their weaknesses.

I am delighted to share my spiritual journey with BITE. As a professional nurse, I joined BITE in 2017, enrolling in evening classes to balance my studies with my work and training. Throughout this journey, I experienced remarkable growth—both in knowledge and spirituality. Our teachers taught with great passion, equipping us not only with academic understanding but also with practical ways to implement that knowledge in our lives. This approach deeply enriched my faith and helped me become a witness for Christ in my workplace. The journey has been long, but I’ve enjoyed every step, as it has shaped me to better serve Him. I am especially grateful for BITE’s focus on character building, alongside academic excellence. The evening classes have been a tremendous blessing for many in Lahore, particularly students, professionals, and ministry workers, offering an invaluable opportunity for personal and spiritual growth.Thank you, BITE, for helping me grow in my faith and calling. I am eager to serve Him and make a meaningful difference in the world.

I am currently serving as a pastor in Mandi Bahauddin, where I lead a church and continue to learn from elders. I firmly believe that God chose and appointed me for this pastoral ministry. Being married and unable to attend a regular seminary, I longed for an opportunity to deepen my understanding of God’s Word. By God’s grace, BITE launched a Modular Program for ministry workers, and I was blessed to enroll in the first cohort, eventually completing my Diploma in Theology. This program profoundly shaped me as a leader, developing my skills for ministry and preparing me for the growing need for church planting. Through this program, I gained both theoretical knowledge and practical tools, helping me take the next steps in building and strengthening the church. I stand in awe of how God has used BITE to transform lives, including mine, and to impact the people of Mandi Bahauddin. Despite the challenges of distance and other obstacles, God’s love and truth have triumphed.

I am serving as a teenage youth leader in my church, a role that fills me with purpose and joy. Joining the evening classes has been both challenging and rewarding, especially as a working professional. It has now been over three years since I began attending these classes, and every session brings me joy and new insights from the teachings.Although managing work and attending classes two evenings a week can be demanding, my hunger to learn the Word of God continues to grow day by day. This journey has been instrumental in my leadership role, enhancing my interpretation and preaching skills.
Now, I can confidently lead meetings and preach independently. It is especially meaningful when youth and teenage members approach me for guidance, allowing me to mentor them and share God’s truth according to Scripture. I am deeply thankful to BITE for the profound impact it has had on my life, equipping me to serve and make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
